The issue value of these shares will amount to EUR 45 million. Such was the decision of an expert jury evaluating the annual reports submitted for the best annual report contest. The contest was organized by the Finance daily paper for the 14th consecutive year.

Thursday, 7th November 2013, Velenje Gorenje at Month of Design tenth anniversary Gorenje again attended Month of Design this year. The SensoCare NGPS12 washing machine and the Aerogor heat pump are among this year's winners of the Design award 2013 and they were showcased as a part of the Design Expo exhibition. The Slovenian Design Highlights retrospective included Gorenje's legendary Simple&Logical washing machine which won the Timeless Award in 2011.

Gorenje decided to revise its strategy after having completed the process of strategic shifts of manufacturing operations, forging a strategic alliance with the Panasonic Corporation, divesting their furniture manufacturing operations, and reorganizing and optimizing their sales structure, all in the course of the last 18 months. Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (GZS) announced at the Innovation Day yesterday the award winners for best innovations in Slovenia in the last year. Monday, 22nd July 2013, Maribor, Slovenia After yesterday's breakout of fire at Gorenje's waste collection and processing subsidiary in Maribor yesterday afternoon, the situation is settling down Situation at the plant of Gorenje's subsidiary Gorenje Surovina in Maribor, where a fire broke out yesterday afternoon in the waste collection and processing area, is settling down.The fire destroyed two thirds of the industrial hall for collection and processing of waste, as well as the solar power plant installed on the rooftop of this facility. The amount of damage is still being assessed at the company. The cause of the fire will be identified during the ensuing investigation.

Wednesday, 17th July 2013, Velenje Gorenje at the Casa Cor event in Brazil

Casa Cor, one of the key events in architecture and interior design, will come to a close this week in São Paulo, a Brazilian metropolis of 11 million. Taking place from May 28 to July 21, 2013 it also involved an exhibition of Gorenje's selected designer appliances. Gorenje also opened its first own showroom in Brazil in March this year.

Gorenje earned another best innovation award this year, presented by the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Tuesday, 28th May 2013, Velenje Gorenje handball players are 2012/13 national champions On May 24 the final game of the Slovenian handball national championship was played at the Red Arena in Velenje. This is HC Gorenje Velenje's third national championship title, and the second in a row. The team only lost twice in the national championship this season and they clinched the title a game before the end. Gorenje proudly congratulates the 2012/13 national champions.

The Reader's Digest magazine held a ceremony on May 22, 2013 to present the 2013 Trusted Brand awards to the brands enjoying the highest consumer confidence. Gorenje was voted the most trusted home appliance brand for the seventh year in a row.

Thursday, 18th April 2013, Velenje, Slovenia Asko washing machines and dryers already produced at Gorenje's Velenje plant Gorenje has completed the relocation of washing machine and dryer production from Sweden to Velenje. Relocated production line was launched at the Velenje factory as planned. Gorenje employees were joined by the members of the Management Board and Supervisory Board today to celebrate the launch of Asko-branded washing machine and dryer production in Velenje by symbolically starting up the automated washing machine tub line.

Thursday, 28th March 2013, Velenje / München, Nemčija Gorenje teams up with the German ice hockey team Hamburg Freezers Company Gorenje Munich signed a sponsorship deal with one of the top German hockey teams the Hamburg Freezers, for two games of the national play-offs taking place on March 22 and 30, 2013. Two Gorenje Retro refrigerators with the distinctive logo of this team were made for the occasion.

On March 15, 2013 Gorenje held its 10th internal Gorenje Design Contest. The topic of the contest, Loving Simplicity, was design of home appliances, services, and solutions for the home, which allow simple and innovative user experience. The jury decided to present the award to two entries.

Among the Gorenje brand products, the award went to outdoor unit of the Gorenje Aerogor heat pump and the SensoCare NGPS12 new generation washing machine, both designed by the Gorenje Design Studio, three awards were won by cooking hobs of the Atag brand.

Tuesday, 5th March 2013, Velenje Gorenje boosting its presence in the market of India After entering the market of India in 2012 in a team-up with Enviro Appliances & Services, Gorenje opened its third Gorenje Experience Centre in this country on February, 28 2013. Wednesday, 27th February 2013, Velenje, Slovenia Gorenje divests its furniture manufacturing operations to CoBe Capital investment firm Gorenje signed today an agreement with CoBe Capital, a global private investment firm focused on operation of non-core and underperforming business units, on the sale of Gorenje Kuhinje and Gorenje Notranja oprema, thus withdrawing from the furniture manufacturing segment.

Tuesday, 19th February 2013, Velenje Slovenian ski jumpers perennially featured on the podium On February 9, 2013 Slovenian ski jumpers won the second gold in this season's team events ¬ this time in Willingen, Germany. On February 13, Jaka Hvala won the individual gold medal in the World Cup event in Klingenthal. On February 16, Peter Prevc climbed the podium as he won sliver in Oberstdorf. Friday, 15th February 2013, Velenje / Slovenia, Valjevo / Serbia Gorenje launches mass production at the new cold appliance plant in Valjevo Gorenje Group launched mass production at the new cold appliance plant in Valjevo, Serbia. This is Gorenje's second refrigerator-freezer facility in Valjevo. The first one was opened in 2006. The combined output of both plants for this year is planned at nearly 800,000. Investment into the new plant amounted to good EUR 21 million; the launch of mass production was on schedule.

Group, Gorenje opened in late January its first showroom in an elite location near Tel Aviv. The showroom will showcase the broadest selection of Gorenje's upmarket designer home appliances. The opening symbolically marks the launch of Gorenje's operations in the Israeli market where high-end appliances will primarily address the affluent consumers.

Thursday, 17th January 2013, Velenje, Slovenia Gorenje Orodjarna completes an extensive technological upgrade of manufacturing equipment Gorenje's toolmaking subsidiary, company Gorenje Orodjarna, completed last year an extensive technological update to their production floor by investing in three new machines that will boost the company's competitiveness. The updated equipment worth over EUR 900,000, the company will be able to vie for new orders and commissions, including those from the aerospace industry.

Friday, 11th January 2013, Velenje, Slovenia Gorenje Supervisory Board appointed other Management Board members for the term 2013–2018 At today's session the Supervisory Board of Gorenje, d.d., confirmed the proposal by the President and CEO and the Remuneration Committee on the appointment of the remaining Management Board members for the term 2013–2018. The Management Board in this term will consist of current Management Board members except Mr. Uroš Marolt who will remain with the Gorenje Group. The Management Board will commence their new term on July 19, 2013.

Wednesday, 9th January 2013, Velenje, Slovenija / München, Nemčija iChef+ oven won the German Design Award The premium Gorenje oven iChef + GO 896 X has won the "German Design Award – Special Mention 2013" for outstanding design quality in the category Home Interior. Oven was nominated for the international premium award, estimated as the highest German Design Award presented by the German Council for Design.
