The company Gorenje, d.d., paid out on Friday, the 22nd of December, 2017, the holders of commercial paper issued on the 24th of January, 2017 with the total face value repaid amounts to EUR 40.0 million. The 22nd of December, 2017, is the maturity date for commercial paper GRV05, issued on the 24th of January, 2017 with a total face value of EUR 40.0 million and an interest rate of 1.30%. The purpose of the commercial paper issue is to diversify the short-term financing sources, financing of operations with a pronounced seasonal dynamic, and optimization of financing costs.

Wednesday, 20th December 2017, Velenje, Slovenia Gorenje's sponsorship of Torpedo was transparent and effective

Gorenje's response to allegations from an anonymous letter sent to the media An anonymous electronic message was addressed today to Gorenje's Management Board and Supervisory Board, and the editorial boards of Slovenian media outlets, accusing Gorenje Group of illegal and harmful transactions: fictitious contracts, money laundering, and misleading the Supervisory Board. The hurtful allegations pertaining to Gorenje's sponsorship of the Russian football club Torpedo in the 2014/2015 season are entirely inaccurate and false, and they give a misleading impression of non-transparent and dubious operations of the Gorenje Group, which is detrimental to the company's and the Management Board's reputation, and stirs unnecessary uncertainty and agitation among our stakeholders. In the spirit of transparent communication, we have decided to clarify the deal to the interested public with a release on Seonet. We resolutely reject the false allegations brought forth by the author of the anonymous letter, as well as the credibility of the documents attached therewith.

Wednesday, 29th November 2017, Velenje Gorenje appoints advisors for its search of a strategic partner

As publicly announced on November 9, 2017, Gorenje Group is embarking on an active search of a suitable strategic partner who would back the Group in its long-term and sustainable growth and development, which could also lead to such partner's participation in the company's ownership structure. To support these activities, Gorenje Management Board appointed at its yesterday's session Rothschild S.p.A., Italy, part of the reputable international investment bank Rothschild & Co, as its financial advisor, and the law firm Jadek & Pensa of Ljubljana for legal support in the process. Activities will be presumably completed by the end of the third quarter of 2018. Gorenje will release more details in case of any specific further steps or if the activities are completed.

The company Gorenje Gospodinjski aparati d.d. informed the public on November 17, 2017, that it had received on November 16, 2017, a request by a minority shareholder Home Products Europe B.V. for convocation of shareholders assembly. Yesterday, on November 21, 2017 and today, on November 22, 2017 the company received two further requests, identical in their contents, for convocation of shareholders assembly by shareholders Raiffeisenbank Austria d.d., Magazinska 69, 1000 Zagreb, and Splitska banka d.d., Domovinskog rata 61, 21000 Split, Croatia, represented by the law firm Kontarščak d.o.o. from Maribor. As registered owner of 471,555 Gorenje, d.d., shares, ISIN SI0031104076, the shareholder Raiffeisenbank Austria d.d. with such number of shares does not constitute the shareholding based on which the company management would be obliged by law to convene a shareholders assembly, i.e. one twentieth of total share capital, and neither does the shareholder Splitska banka d.d., as registered owner of 407,831 Gorenje, d.d., shares, ISIN SI0031104076. However, the requests are identical to the request by the shareholder Home Products Europe B.V. and therefore, the company will address all requests together.

Thursday, 9th November 2017, Velenje Gorenje Group with revenue and profits increase, despite a challenging quarter

With challenging conditions in both downstream and upstream markets, as well as the labour market, Gorenje's performance remains stable as the Group generated nearly EUR 944 million of sales revenue in the first nine months of the year, or 4.8 percent more than in the same period last year. Comparable operating profit before depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) was higher by good five percent as it nearly reached EUR 59 million. Net profit at EUR 4.6 million was 12.1% higher than in the equivalent period of the year before. We increased our sales of major domestic appliances, including the premium brands, and small domestic appliances. We also improved our geographical structure of sales and increased our revenue from other businesses. Performance in the third quarter was negatively affected by slower sales that fell short of the budget, especially in the markets of Germany and Great Britain; rising prices of materials and components; labour cost pressures; and decrease of productivity as a result of mass production launch for new generations of products. Considering the typical dynamics within the year, we expect to see the largest share of revenue in the last quarter, which in turn will also affect the overall performance. In view of the said negative circumstances, we find that all key objectives laid down for 2017 are not attainable, despite the many measures introduced to mitigate them.

On Friday, November 10, Pošta Slovenije (the Slovenian postal service) will issue a special-edition postage stamp from the Slovenian Industrial Design series, depicting the Gorenje Simple & Logical washing machine. The revolutionary product – the first touch-controlled home appliance – was a global innovation. For Gorenje, it meant the start of a user-centric design approach that emphasizes simplicity of use and which Gorenje continues to pursue under the slogan Life Simplified.

Over the past weekend, October 28 - 29th, the first Gorenje Group International Business Hackathon took place at the Ljubljana Technology Park. At the event, organized by the Corporate University of Gorenje in cooperation with companies CorpoHub and Microsoft Slovenia, 63 participants from 10 countries sought to develop solutions for business challenges of the digital future. The winning idea took into account the lifestyle, development and communication trends as well as shopping and retail trends of the future.

Thursday, 26th October 2017, Velenje, Slovenia Notification about Request for Submission of Reports and Information

Gorenje received from the Securities Market Agency a Request for Submission of Reports and Information, based solely on the articles published in the Delo daily paper, regarding the discontinuation of business cooperation between the Gorenje Group and Panasonic. Misleading claims about the termination of cooperation between the two corporations were subsequently cited by other media outlets. Gorenje will respond to the said request by the Securities Market Agency in compliance with the effective legislation and within the specified deadlines. We also requested from the Delo daily paper to correct the false allegations and to observe our right to reply to them, pursuant to the Media Act.

At the Design Month national award ceremony, Gorenje was presented a special award for persistent promotion of superior design in the domestic appliance industry.

Thursday, 12th October 2017, Kragujevac Gorenje donates a 3D printer to the Kragujevac Polytechnic

Yesterday at the convention of Serbian mechanical engineering schools, the company Gorenje MDM, of Kragujevac, donated a 3D printer to the Polytechnic in that town. The device was made as a part of a project task by Gorenje MDM scholarship holders from Kragujevac who have attended the Velenje School Centre in the last two years. Gorenje MDM sent four Serbian high school students to the Velenje school in order to secure new excellently trained young employees with adequate technical knowledge for work at the toolmaking plant, and to bring the company closer to the young generation.

Monday, 9th October 2017, Velenje Gorenje Group company ATAG wins the first smart kitchen contract in the Netherlands

The Gorenje Group company ATAG was chosen by the largest Dutch home investor Syntrus Achmea to fit 44 luxury smart home apartments with ATAG Connect Life smart kitchen appliances. ATAG will launch their connected appliances on the Dutch market by the end of this year, followed next year by the ASKO brand in Denmark. This marks the entry of Gorenje Group in the connected home segment as the ATAG and ASKO experience will later be used for the entire Group connectivity platform.

Friday, 6th October 2017, Velenje Gorenje receives the Disabled-Friendly Company certificate

At the Days of Professional and Employment Rehabilitation, or the REHA Days, 2017, Gorenje received an award for good practice of hiring disabled persons, and the Disabled-Friendly Company certificate that was presented to the company on behalf of the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities by the Minister Anja Kopač Mrak.

Tuesday, 3th October 2017, Velenje, Slovenia Temporary suspension of trading with the GV01 corporate note due to KDD (Central Securities Clearing Corporation) procedures in the central register

Gorenje d.d. hereby informs the public that October 10, 2017, is the date for the interim payment of the principal of the amortizing corporate note with the symbol GV01. Holders of GV01 who are registered in the KDD (Central Securities Clearing Corporation) register as at October 4, 2017 (cut-off date) shall be entitled to the payment of the principal and relevant interest. In accordance with the KDD Rules of Operation dated December 14, 2016, as changed and amended on January 23, 2017, interim payment of principal of an amortizing corporate note is deemed a corporate action in which KDD shall provide to the holders of the GV01 corporate note a payment, deletion, and issue of a corporate note with the same ISIN code, yet with a reduced principal. Upon this basis, the KDD requested from the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (Ljubljanska borza d.d.) and the issuer Gorenje d.d. to temporarily suspend the trading with the GV01 corporate note in the period October 3, 2017, to October 10, 2017, and Gorenje d.d. has done as requested.

Gorenje's innovators again won the gold national award of the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the most innovative enterprises and innovators, with their new generation of Gorenje SmartFlex dishwashers. The selection of the best Slovenian innovations took place for the fifteenth time in a row. This year, the contest included 744 innovators with 182 entries. The award ceremony took place as a part of the Innovation Day at which Gorenje Group also presented its experience and achievements in the field of circular economy.

Gorenje Group was successful in the first half of the year, with higher sales revenue and net profit. We are increasing the share of profitable innovative and premium products and stepping up investments into development. Around 300 new hirings in this year. The third quarter will be challenging; sales are expected to peak in the last quarter.

Beginning of a new school year is something all kids should be looking forward to. However, reuniting with their school mates is not easy for many as their school bags are not full of shiny and inspiring new supplies for a successful and fun school year. At Gorenje, we have decided to work with Peter Prevc to make the return to school easier more pleasant for 1,000 children in need: our ski jumping champion will be with them every day – on the covers of their new notebooks. Hoping for lots of smiles on the first day of the school year, Gorenje and Peter Prevc presented yesterday to the Friends of the Youth Association (ZPM) Ljubljana Moste-Polje 3,000 notebooks and 1,000 sets of coloured pencils.

Thursday, 27th July 2017, Velenje, Slovenia Franjo Bobinac president and CEO for another term of office

With regard to the offer extended to Franjo Bobinac for a new term of office as President and CEO, of which the Supervisory Board informed the Shareholders Assembly on July 14, 2017, Supervisory Board chairman Marko Voljč received on July 26 Franjo Bobinac's consent to appointment, and Mr Voljč informed the Supervisory Board members of the receipt of Mr Bobinac's consent. Therefore, Franjo Bobinac is appointed Gorenje, d.d., President and CEO for the term of office from July 20, 2018 to July 20, 2023.

Friday, 14th July 2017, Velenje Gorenje's first half the best in the last five years; Management Board granted discharge from liability for 2016

At the 24th Gorenje Shareholders Assembly, President and CEO Franjo Bobinac presented to the shareholders the Gorenje Group operations and performance in 2016 and the performance in this year's first six months, which bests any first half of the last five years in terms of both revenue and profit. The Group wrapped up the first half of 2017 with revenue of EUR 624 million, or good 7 percent more than last year, and net profit of EUR 4.4 million, which is more than double the figure from the corresponding period of 2016.

Wednesday, 28th June 2017, Ljubljana Criminal reports due to alleged abuse of insider information against Gorenje and President and CEO Franjo Bobinac dropped

The District State Prosecutor's Office of Ljubljana informed the company Gorenje d. d. and its President and CEO Franjo Bobinac that it dismissed the criminal reports filed by the Securities Market Agency (ATVP) for alleged criminal offence of abuse of insider information related to the communication of the due diligence carried out at Gorenje last year by the Panasonic Corporation.

Wednesday, 24th May 2017, Velenje Gorenje Group sees solid growth of sales and profit in the first quarter of 2017

In the first quarter of this year, Gorenje Group stepped up its sales of premium and innovative dishwashing and cooking appliances, and, consistently with the strategic plan, boosted sales in markets beyond Europe, as well as in Benelux and Eastern Europe. High growth rates were also seen in sales of small domestic appliances and heating equipment. Thus, we wrapped up the first quarter of 2017 with operating profit (EBIT) of EUR 7.9 million, up 16 percent over the last year's equivalent period, and with net profit of EUR 2.1 million, which is a million and a half above the last year's first quarter figure.

Tuesday, 16th May 2017, Velenje, Slovenia Fire in Kemis Extinguished In the industrial premises of the Gorenje affiliated company Kemis, d.o.o., which is also location for storage of hazardous waste, fire spread on 15 May 2017 at around 8 p.m. The waste which is stored at the location and intended for further processing is categorized as hazardous waste, mainly fuels, waste oil, solvents and medicinal products. The fire, which has been extinguished during the night with great efforts of the firemen, has destroyed part of the business premises and the warehouse for storage of low hazardous solid and liquid waste.

Wednesday, 26th April 2017, Velenje, Slovenia and Washington, USA Franjo Bobinac the new Slovenian representative at the Trilateral Commission The Trilateral Commission is a global union of economists, politicians and academics with the purpose of encouraging good relations and strengthening cooperation between different spheres of the society. At the end of this March, Franjo Bobinac, the President of the Management Board of Gorenje, was named as the representative of Slovenia at the Trilateral Commission. He was named at the Commission’s invitation. Before Bobinac, this honorable position belonged to Marko Voljč, long-time President of NLB and member of the Management Board of KBC Bank.

Thursday, 13th April 2017, Ljubljana Rog opens a showroom in the BTC City shopping centre in Ljubljana

Exactly five months after the presentation and the beginning of the sales of the legendary Pony bikes, Rog opened a special showroom in Hall A of the BTC City shopping centre in Ljubljana, where visitors will be able to view, test and buy bikes, also the unique limited edition ones, and other products from the Rog product range. Later, servicing will also be available there.

Thursday, 6th April 2017, Velenje, Slovenia Gorenje considers second bond issue The company Gorenje, d.d., hereby publicly announces that, consistently with its policy of diversification of financing sources, is analyzing the possibilities for the second issue of bonds. The Company's decision on actual bond issue, type of bond, coupon, and nominal size of the issue will be adopted based on the market conditions and investor response or interest. The purpose of the bond issue is to further improvement of the average maturity of financing sources, support the achievement of the Strategic Plan of the Gorenje Group 2016-20 through planned growth of operations and continuing to improve the sales structure (especially in the segment of premium and innovative products), to refinance part of long-term financial resources and to optimize the finance expenses.

Monday, 3th April 2017, Velenje Gorenje Group wins another 4 Red dot awards for superior design

In the competition of over 5500 entries from all over the world, four of our products under the brands Gorenje and ASKO received this year’s Red dot design awards. The expert committee recognized the outstanding design of the Gorenje multifunctional ovens and new generation of gas hobs while also awarding two Red dot Best of the Best awards for ground breaking design to the ASKO washers and dryers. This marks the 13th consecutive year for Gorenje Group to be awarded with the Red Dot - the internationally sought-after seal of quality.

Gorenje Group's premium brand ASKO, a Scandinavian specialist in high quality kitchen and laundry apliances, announced the launch of its new laundry products, ASKO Pro Home Laundry, to a group of over 200 guest from over 30 different countries. The launch event was held in Stockholm, Sweden.

Tuesday, 21st March 2017, Ljubljana Gorenje donates a cooking hob adapted for blind and partially sighted persons

Gorenje Group's donation will allow students of the Iris Centre for Education, Rehabilitation, Inclusion and Counselling for the Blind and Partially Sighted to safely cook, which is an important step on their path to living an independent life. The cooking hob of our premium Atag brand, fitted with specially adapted silicone coating that allows safe use for the blind and visually impaired, is the first of its kind in Slovenia. Humanitarian efforts are an integral part of Gorenje Group's corporate social responsibility, and we are looking to assist those in need both in Slovenia and in other countries of our presence by donating appliances and funds, and by taking part in humanitarian projects.

Thursday, 9th March 2017, Velenje Gorenje Group ahead of revenue and EBITDA plan for 2016

At yesterday's session, the Supervisory Board of Gorenje d.d. was presented the Gorenje Group's unaudited financial statements for the year 2016. The Group maintained the positive performance trend that started in the last quarter of 2015, and improved upon it throughout the year. The Group's revenue was EUR 1.258 billion, EBITDA at EUR 87.2 million. With EUR 8.4 million profit, which is higher than budgeted and tops the estimate released in January, we considerably – by EUR 16.4 million – improved our profitability. Other goals laid down in the Strategic Plan for last year successfully pursued as well.

Dr. Groznik tendered his resignation by mutual agreement and consensus of the Supervisory Board. We are sincerely grateful to Peter for his outstanding service and significant contributions, especially for his work in deleveraging and strengthening the financial position of Gorenje Group. This year, Gorenje celebrates a quarter century of partnership with the Slovenian Nordic Ski Teams – ski jumpers, cross-country skiers, and the Nordic combined team. For the twelfth year in a row, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, and the Ministry of Commerce, Tourism, and Telecommunication, selected in the campaign titled "The Best from Serbia" the best brands and companies as rated based on their financial and market achievements. Gorenje was once again found the best foreign brand made in Serbia. The campaign included 140 companies with 196 brands, vying for the title of the best.

Commercial paper with the identification code GRV05 has a 1.30% interest rate. Total nominal value of the issue amounts to EUR 40.0 million. Gorenje, d.d., has applied for the admission of the commercial paper subscribed to trading on the regulated market of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange. The purpose of the commercial paper issue is to diversify the short-term financing sources, financing of operations with a pronounced seasonal dynamic, and optimization of financing costs.

Wednesday, 25th January 2017, Velenje, Slovenia Successful issue of commercial paper confirms investor confidence in the Gorenje Group - January 25, 2017 In order to obtain funds for seasonal financing of its operations, Gorenje, d. d., successfully completed its fifth consecutive issue of commercial paper in the amount of EUR 40.0 million. The commercial paper with start of interest accrual period on January 24, 2017, and date of maturity on December 22, 2017, has the lowest interest rate to date, at 1.30 percent p.a. The issue contributes to the efforts to further cut Gorenje Group's finance expenses, and the substantial interest in commercial paper reaffirms investor confidence in Gorenje.

In the first year of pursuit of the 2016–2020 Strategic Plan, Gorenje Group achieved the goals set forth as it increased its revenue to EUR 1.257 billion and considerably improved its financial performance indicators. We plan for further revenue growth and improved profitability in 2017.
