On behalf of Hisense Europe, Hisense Gorenje Germany has entered into a strong strategic partnership with the MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group. This pioneering collaboration on an international level not only strengthens both companies’ positions in the global market but also marks the beginning of a long-term success story.

With this agreement, Hisense Europe is joining the exclusive circle of strategically important partners of the MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group – a significant vote of confidence and a clear signal for the shared future. MediaMarktSaturn is Europe’s leading consumer electronics retailer and provider of related services. The company operates over 1,000 stores across Europe. They are the leading consumer electronics retailer in Europe and have a significant online presence as well. With around two billion customer contacts per year across all channels, the electronics retailer has an enormous reach, claiming number 1 or 2 market position in nine of the eleven European countries where they operate. They are present in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Hungary, and Poland.  As part of its strategic realignment, the company is developing itself from a classical product seller to a solutions-oriented omnichannel platform which integrates the topics customer and sustainability into all of its business activities.

At the heart of the alliance between MediaMarktSaturn and Hisense Europe are three key strategic priorities. The partnership aims to drive sustainable growth through targeted expansion across all eleven national organizations of MediaMarktSaturn and the sales business units of Hisense Europe. Additionally, it seeks to remove existing operational barriers, for example, through efficient troubleshooting while the marketing approach will be sharpened by global retail media initiatives to create a stronger market impact.

The partnership combines the innovative strength and operational expertise of Hisense Europe with the global reach and market knowledge of MediaMarktSaturn. Both sides benefit from intensive knowledge sharing, increased market penetration, and a clearly aligned future strategy.

The implementation and further development of the partnership fall under the responsibility of the Group’s Chief Commercial Officer and CEO of MediaMarktSaturn Germany Alexander Rauchut. Together with Vice President or International Partner and Supplier Management at MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group Alpay Güner, Executive Vice-President of Hisense Europe Louis Hou, and Sühel Semerci, Executive Vice President of Hisense Gorenje Germany. The senior leadership team will drive this cooperation, providing targeted operational support at the country level and ensuring a sustainable, strategic collaboration.
