Gorenje, being a part of Hisense Group, is one of the official sponsors of UEFA EURO 2020™. With this partnership, Gorenje wants to reinforce its market position as one of the leading European manufacturers of home appliances. The biggest sport event of the year will kick off in 72 days!

We have prepared an UEFA Euro 2020 sponsorship toolbox, which contains materials and plans for communication support before and during the biggest sports event in 2021. In the following two weeks we will share with you some additional information about the global simplyfans social media campaign and a press release to spread the news in local media.

What you need to know

Markets need to start communicating UEFA Euro 2020™ sponsorship in time to reach their predefined sales & brand enhancement targets. Each market should invest at least what they put in their yearly plans which were aligned with HQ. Detailed Gorenje brand promotion plans need to be delivered till 15th of April to


All adaptations, which change the appearance of the Key Visuals need to be confirmed by UEFA and adidas, if you will use their elements. Please send materials for submission to Approval time is 14 days. No third brands/retailers exposure is allowed on visuals without UEFA approval.

Our sponsorship and image rights end in December 2021.

Simplyfans campaign

The global Gorenje #simplyfans UEFA Euro 2020™ social media campaign with giveaways will take place from April 15th (we will align on exact date when to start and inform you accordingly) and will end in the end of July 2021. All European market residents can participate in it – main prizes are 2x C1 tickets for the Final match, few official adidas UEFA Euro 2020™ products, Gorenje SDA products, Gorenje freebies and much more … The prize pool will be rich.


Before we launch the social media campaign, we will inform you, and send some press release documents, video AD and social media content for localisation.


We will monitor, which markets share content and help spread the sponsorship message. We will also collect newsletter contacts, which markets will later be able to use for local news. The more you share our content, the more chance you have to get additional contacts for your newsletter base. We promise the content will be fun and useful for markets. As it’s free of charge, it is win-win-win situation.
