At the Saddec International Tradeshow in Lyon

From April 8th to 11th, Gorenje is making its appearance at Saddec, France's largest international kitchen industry fair taking place at the renowned Eurexpo exhibition center in Lyon. This is Gorenje's first appearance at the French market with the iChef oven which is displayed during the fair at a special location, among the nominees for the innovation of the year. Also making their début at the fair are the Atag brand products; the hob HG9711MCB of the Magna line is displayed among the nominees for the design of the year. Novelties at Gorenje's exhibition area located in Hall 5, No. A1-B2, also include the Gorenje Pininfarina Steel line; in addition, products of the distinctive designer line Gorenje Ora-Ïto, Gorenje designed by Karim Rashid, and retro refrigerators are also showcased.

Mrs. Tassadit Ait Si, Head of Marketing at Gorenje France: "In the segment of kitchen studios, Gorenje has been present in the French market with Gorenje Premium products since April 2010. This offer is now being upgraded with the innovative oven featuring the iChef control module which was nominated for the innovation of the year. Also making their début at the fair is the Atag brand product line, particularly the cooking hobs. We have been gradually implementing this bran in stores across Franc since the second half of last year. Other novelties include the Gorenje Pininfarina Steel line and Gorenje's new pyrolitic ovens which have seen great response since the end of last year when they were launched."

Saddec fair, intended exclusively for industry professionals, will feature kitchen and home appliance manufacturers, as well as dealers, architects, and designers. Gorenje expects to see a total of 400 visitors at the exhibition area, of which at least two thirds will be new partners, including designers and interior designers. "Kitchen hood design has been flourishing in France recently. The design of the hood, a key detail in the kitchen for many customers, shapes the decision of the kitchen layout and choice of appliances; therefore, our selection of kitchen hoods exhibited here is also emphasized. This is particularly observed by interior designers who appreciate a solid culture of design for with Gorenje is famous," explained Ait Si.

This year's Saddec international fair, a unique French fair for the kitchen industry, taking place at the renowned Eurexpo exhibition center in Lyon, will feature 130 exhibitors of which a good fifth are international participants, mostly from Spain and England. The fair is expected to see 10,000 visitors in four days.
