End of Due Diligence Period

Further to the prior public announcement on Monday 25^th July 2016 that a due diligence process is being undertaken on Gorenje by Panasonic Corporation, Gorenje can now confirm that the due diligence period finished on Friday 30^th September 2016 as was previously guided.

As envisaged by the legal documents that were entered into between Gorenje and Panasonic Corporation on 13 July 2016, Panasonic Corporation is now evaluating its potential next steps. Any subsequent announcements will be made by 30^th November 2016. These activities may or may not lead to Panasonic Corporation’s decision to launch a bid to increase its shareholding in Gorenje, but no decision on entering into any transaction has been made yet.

The management of Gorenje continues to act in the best interests of the company.
