The resignation of the Supervisory Board Member of the company Gorenje, d.d.
On 31 May, 2010 the Management Board and the Supervisory Board of the company Gorenje, d.d. received a statement from Krešimir Martinjak, a Supervisory Board Member representing interests of Gorenje employees, that he is resigning from the Supervisory Board on 31 May, 2010.
Krešimir Martinjak resigned due to legal reasons only. With regard to the fact that at the 14th Shareholder Assembly Meeting of Gorenje, d.d. changes of the Article 15 of company’s Statute that refers to the number and composition of the Supervisory Board were confirmed so that interests of the shareholders are represented by six Supervisory Board Members while interests of employees are represented by four Supervisory Board Members, the current Supervisory Board would be contrary to the Statute after the changes were made in the register of the companies. Due to Mr. Martinjak's resignation statement the Supervisory Board will be composed in accordance with the changes of the Statute that were confirmed by the Shareholders Assembly Meeting on 28 May, 2010.
