From February 7th to 10th this year, Gorenje will be featured for the sixth time at the biennial Interclima fair in Paris, one of the leading European tradeshows for industry professionals, presenting heating equipment and renewable energy resource technology. In addition to the conventional program of electric water heaters and heat pumps, business partners and other guests at the Gorenje stand took interest in the new low- and high-temperature space heating heat pumps developed and manufactured by Gorenje.
The showcased range of Gorenje space heating heat pumps certified according to the highest European standards includes water/water, air/water, and brine/water models. The exquisite design is the work of Gorenje Design Studio. Another attention grabber was the wall-mounted medium-capacity (80 to 120 litres) heat pump water heater which presents an excellent alternative to the conventional electric water heaters. The compact dimensions and upright wall-mounting design allow installation on any spot previously occupied by a conventional electric water heater. The new heat pump water heater retains all the advantages of an electric water heater while adding a plethora of new functionalities and economical use of electric energy characteristic of heat pumps.
"Despite the persistent crisis, the interest in our products is on the rise in the French market; this applies in particular to our new energy-efficient appliances like the heat pumps and modern smart water heaters. This gives Gorenje brand a better chance in the heating equipment segment of the exacting French market," explained Mrs. Poly Mekinc, head of water heating equipment sale in Western European markets at Gorenje Heating Systems.
This year, Gorenje will also present its offer at other tradeshows relevant for the heating equipment industry, such as Dom in Ljubljana, MCE in Milan, Aquatherm in Kiev, and Građevine in Belgrade which will also feature a joint presentation of all Gorenje companies dealing with energy engineering and ecology.
The Paris fair also saw the presentation of the highly energy efficient and economical OGB SMART water heater. The advanced intelligent electronic controller monitors the behaviour of the user and after a while automatically calculates the optimum operation pattern, which allows saving up to 25 percent of energy. Owing to this feature, the appliance meets the highest standards of the pending European Directive on energy efficiency of water heating equipment. This will allow Gorenje's water heater program to stand its ground in the challenging European market.
