The IFA consumer electronics and home appliance fair featuring 1,439 exhibitors, including Gorenje, with their innovations and novelties, is in full swing. Gorenje's exhibition area was particularly lively on the first day and the same is expected in the days to follow.
The slogan of Gorenje's this year presentation at the Berlin fair is "Innovation for a healthy lifestyle". It signifies the combination of the red dot award-winning revolutionary IQcook induction hob with superior steam cooking technology, the first laundry dryer with IonTech technology and anti-allergic action, new generation of washing machines and dryers with the innovative SensorIQ technology, and the new generation of intelligent refrigerators that provide high-quality long-term food storage.
IQcook, Ultimate Steaming Technology
The flagship of Gorenje's novelties exhibited in Berlin is the revolutionary IQcook induction hob featuring the unique IQsteam steaming technology that completely changes the way we cook, emphasising the trend towards an easier way of cooking and healthy eating.
The Gorenje IQcook is the first induction hob in the world that you can truly trust to perceive all changes in a timely manner and adjust the operation to avoid boiling over, burning, or overcooking. User-minded preset cooking modes IQsteam, IQboil, IQpro, IQfry and IQgrill simplify the preparation of many dishes even further. Now users can maximise their time while their meals cook and they needn’t worry when something unexpected happens – nothing will ever burn or boil over again. The revolutionary IQcook technology which received the eminent international red dot design award 2012 is entirely the product of Gorenje's own development and design.
Healthy lifestyle was promoted at the tradeshow with a demonstration of IQcook steam cooking and tastings for the visitors and the spirits were kept high by the mime artists of the IGEN Dance Theatre in UltraWhite & PerfectBlack outfits.
Visitors of Gorenje's stand are again hosted by the popular German TV and radio host Mrs. Britta Wiegand. Joined by the mime artists, she welcomes the guests and shows them around.
