Women's ski jumping event in Ljubno
On February 16 and 17, 2013 Ljubno ob Savinji hosted two women's ski jumping World Cup events. Our best female ski jumper Katja Požun came in an excellent fourth: "I am pleased about the fourth place as well. The two jumps were solid and I did my best. The atmosphere here in Ljubno is fantastic. Other jumpers also said this was the best place to jump." Ljubno has hosted the women's Continental Cup since 2006; last year, it joined Planica as the second Slovenian venue for a World Cup ski jumping event.
