Gorenje at the Casa Cor event in Brazil
Casa Cor, one of the key events in architecture and interior design, will come to a close this week in São Paulo, a Brazilian metropolis of 11 million. Taking place from May 28 to July 21, 2013 it also involved an exhibition of Gorenje's selected designer appliances.
Showcasing Gorenje's products at events attended by the high-income consumer and experts on architecture and interior design is a part of Gorenje's strategy to boost the recognition of the brand in Brazil where the company started offering its exclusive designer lines in cooperation with specialized retailers and furniture studios last year. In the São Paulo metropolis, Gorenje also opened its first own showroom in Brazil in March this year.
At this year's event Casa Cor, which has taken place every year since 1987 in one of the largest Brazilian, Peruvian, or Panamanian cities, Gorenje showcased its flagships including the HomeChef oven, Pure Line, wine coolers, the Retro collection, and the designer lines Gorenje Ora-Ïto and Gorenje designed by Karim Rashid.
Tatjana Močenik, managing director of Gorenje's Brazilian subsidiary: "In 2013, we are looking to boost and expand our presence at the key specialized dealers and furniture studios in São Paulo and in all major cities and states of Brazil." Brazil is currently the only South American market in which Gorenje is present.
