Runner-up award-winning place for the photo of the Gorenje IQcook development team
Vesna Petkovšek, chief editor of the magazine: »Key missions of the "Pika na G" intrenal magazine, which is bilingual as it is also intended for employees at our international subsidiaries, is reinforcement of shared corporate values and culture, introduction of the many teams and individuals who co-create the present and the future of Gorenje, and understanding of the key Gorenje Group projects and strategic policies. There are always people in the background of these issues; therefore, the employees are the main characters of the stories in the magazine.«
Gorenje's internal magazine "Pika na G", its cover and contributions therein have already won many awards at the national level, such as the Papirus award presented by the Slovenian PR Association, and the InCo award for the best contribution on innovation in internal media.
About award-winning photo
Three employees (from left) Dražen Djukić, Marko Kreča and Jure Plaskan, protagonists of the award-winning photo, are engineers who played a key role in the development and creation of the remarkably innovative Gorenje product – the unique IQcook induction hob. The photo was taken by Ivan Pisar of the AV studio d.o.o.
This unique product required a different approach to development. In addition to mathematical calculations, computer testing, and simulations that are a part of the standard procedure, the engineers spent many hours in the lab to test the appliance in practice – by cooking and, of course, tasting the food. Through the hours of work invested in the development of this exceptional product, strong bonds of friendship were also established. All this innovativeness, work atmosphere, team spirit and friendship were captured in the photo.
