The 50th Supervisory Board Meeting of Gorenje, d.d.
Management Board welcomes a new membe
At the 50th meeting, held on the 24th of April, 2014, the Supervisory Board of Gorenje, d.d., adopted audited Annual Report of Gorenje, d.d., and the Consolidated Annual Report of the Gorenje Group for the year 2013, and confirmed the proposal for the application of the balance-sheet profit for the year 2013. The Supervisory Board adopted the Report on the revision of Annual Report, which will be submitted to the Annual General Meeting.
At the session the Supervisory Board appointed, upon proposal by the President and CEO Franjo Bobinac, a new Management Board member. Beginning his term on April 28, 2014 Peter Kukovica, PhD, will be in charge of supply chain management/ logistics, quality management, organization, and IT.
Peter Kukovica has worked as an advisor to Gorenje President and CEO since he joined Gorenje in mid-June 2013. His field of work has included development of solutions for improvement in complexity and supply chain management, improvement of cost efficiency, and monitoring of accomplishment of strategic projects and goals.
Before joining Gorenje, he was a President and CEO at Iskra Sistemi, d.d., deputy director at AMZS, d.d., and assistant to the managing director in charge of strategic development and marketing at ACH, d.d. He is Supervisory Board Chairman of the bank Nova KBM d.d. After graduating at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, in 1989, he followed up his studies with a post-graduate program at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana where he earned his PhD title in business administration and organization (1998).
