Gorenje Group wins four regional accolades for the best innovations
The Chamber of Commerce of the Savinja and Šalek Region (SŠGZ)
presented for the 19th consecutive year the awards for the best innovations in
the SAŠA (Savinja and Šalek) region. This year, the entries included 11
enterprises with 15 innovations by a total of 133 innovators. The jury that
rated the innovations for their inventiveness – originality, economic results,
sustainability effects, and environmental aspects, presented two silver and two
golden awards to Gorenje Group. Three top-rated innovations include two from
Gorenje: the new generation of Asko premium washing machines and dryers, and
the new generation of Gorenje free standing cookers. With them, Gorenje Group
innovators will also vie for the title of the best innovation at the national
level.
The
silver award for the best innovations in the SAŠA region went to innovators
from Gorenje Orodjarna (toolmaking plant) for their innovative method of pull
forming in sheet metal deep drawing, and innovators from Gorenje d.d. for their
assembly line for built-in gas hobs.
The
jury presented the golden award for Gorenje's new generation of free standing
cookers (FS16) in which the authors developed numerous advanced functions for
easier, more pleasant, safer, and care-free user experience. With the new
generation of free standing cookers with a width of 50, 60, and 70 cm,
Gorenje extends the offer of all-around home appliances that respond to the
requirements of a fast pace of life.
Therefore,
Gorenje's innovators also won the award for the new generation of prestigious
washing machines and dryers Asko Pro Home Laundry that was designed in close
cooperation with the users and which brings a range of new innovative solutions
that help carry out one of the least popular household chores quickly,
efficiently, safely, and reliably. The tests with the new generation of Asko
washing machines and dryers have shown that these appliances are capable of
withstanding 15 to 20 years of normal household use, while their
sensor-supported technology ensures minimum use of time, water, and power.
We
congratulate the innovators and we wish them a lot of success at the national
level.
